Yes, I do think that subliminal advertising is influencing the general public. Things like if you want to be cool or popular you have to buy a certain item, or if you want to feel really manly then you have to use a certain razor or cologne.

Oh, with no uncertainties, subliminal advertising does influence the masses. What’s sad to see is that the adverse effects of subliminal advertising overpower the positive ones. Like more people now would opt to buy cds with lots of pic of the artist or some other cool stuffs contained therewith than the ordinary and plain ones.

I believe it can somewhat influence the public. When we see this advertisement with a catchy image that can lead to buy the product even though we haven’t tried it yet, it becomes effective. Sometimes when I see a commercial on tv and when I go to the supermarket, I tend to buy that product. Strange but I guess it’s just really subliminal advertising.
